SO,

been a while hasn't it
New job, had to get a midweek flat as I now commute Monday to Friday again.

Well - i thought - its time i stopped taking risks near home, and see if what I used to have when I stayed with my chum and encourager in London, could work for me.
Nothing to lose, keep work and home safe - but  - essentially find a place to share where i can dress as little or as much as I cared.

So - as I organised the flat share - I thought - why not..show em the pics, and if the lady in mind doesn't mind - and or better still thinks it cool, then I may as well ditch the southern unit, and come out part time.

Scratches the itch...as it were.

So, found a flat - the woman was beyond cool - and bought a few little sale items - and arranged to ship all my tosh.

Allied to recently coming out to an old female friend who had guessed something was unusual....I have found myself being - erm - strangely open - if its detached and can be in a box.

I had been out a few times femme in last months...shopping, and even out to a DJ bar near me. I'm told I'm passable, have great legs, can dance in heels and I do get nattering to almost exclusively girls who either think its cool what I'm doing - or have shoe envy.

Now - in the trannyflat - my flatmate told her best mate - low and behold - next thing I'm cooking dinner and meeting them as Nicole/

Brings me to my point.

Normally - when you get the standard questions - either coming out to a girl you know, or when a woman (never blokes) chats beyond 'where are the shoes / dress /skirt from.

So you get the usual...'are you gay, do you want to get the chop, how long have you been doing it, and the usual...why??' (That's the easiest...you love nice clothes, shoes, lingerie, nylons...yes? Feel nice? Yep - why cant I, feel nice to me too)

The interesting questions make you stop and think and challenge yourself.

So - to 'F' and 'P' - here's some of the questions and my thoughts they provoked.

If you had the same confidence now, say - when you were 21 - what would have been different?

Woo...that's a killer! I would have been out femme a load more.....the longest I tried when I was in my 20s was a few days -  I would have experimented with full time I guess - nothing removed = never wanted that - but I would have been fully out and see where it went. 

When you cant be bothered to bother with a skirt and tights etc - do you wear women's jeans?

Yep! Only own women's ones....and wear them both in M and F mode.

Have you / Do you wear women's trousers, t shirts, jumpers 'as a guy'..?

Yes....I love wideleg formal women's trousers...obviously great with heels, but a long jumper and clumpy trainer boots....often wear that food shopping.

What's the best and worst experience you have had shopping while dressed?

Worst: being told in a branch of Next that they would prefer I shopped online....
Best: Tough one - Shoe boutique Selfridges, or House of F City - treated to a glass of bubbles and treated as a friend.....could have spent a fortune. Shoes, undies, 3 dresses, bag, make up - a great afternoon.

The tights thing, do you feel underdressed without them? (She said she did)

Yep...Sheers all the time, but opaques in the snow! Since I started shaving /waxing they are my second skin.

You have loads of work style dresses and you love the formal look - if you could - just for a day and there be nothing to lose - and the environment was happy about it - would you try a day in a job in a dress?

Hmm...Yes...For a day or so - if it was a low stress job...and they were all totally OK. Would love to for a day or so...Not my real job!

And you wear girls gym things - has - say your pilates teacher said anything?

Asked me once where I got my leggings!

You say you are now doing things and feel able to do things you always dreamt of when you discovered you were a proper transvestite - not just a bit fetishy. So, what else did you always wish you could just do - no strings, magic wand time..?

Live it for a week, full time, in a job - and back down again. So I know I have done it, proved it to myself I could if I wanted to.....why die wondering eh?

Have you ever seen anyone you know when you were out 'in disguise' and did they recognise you?

Twice. They didn't recognise me at all. Since then, I told the two women in question....and neither believed it.

Are you experimenting with being - 'out' up here, and will you stick with it - every night - say for a few months?
