Heart in mouth, I'm off to the boudoir this afternoon for a decent makeover and styling session so I can look halfway passable.
Trolley-dolly packed with 4 different looks to see what suits best - check.
Stack of make-up - check.
Texts ready for girly friends to meet if I'm feeling brave yet option to flee home lest I get the fear and have to run - check.
Heels and some sensible ballet pumps if I i have to negotiate some stairs - check.
Umpteen pairs of nylons in case I ladder them - check.
All I need is a stiff drink and a couple of ciggies and I reckon I'm there.
